Leica Geovid BRF 10 x 42

I'm giving some serious consideration to purchasing a pair of these, and am wondering what you all think. I really wish the warranty was more than 5 years, but they are Leica, so I'll probably never have a problem with them. Would you do it?

Everything I've seen on this post about them has been good. Leica is top quality optics. I thought they had a lifetime warranty? fatrooster.

I think its a great idea and I'm sure they are nice. The only thing that has me worried is the field of view. Its very reduced. Excellent concept, but I personally don't like looking through a straw. Just my .02.

Well, I did it! I bought a pair from Bear Basin Outfitters, and got them for $50 less than anyone else was selling them for. They also gave me free shipping and a Crooked Horn Outfitters binocular suspender. Anyway, I love them! They are fantastic, and I'm very glad that I did it. Drew a spring bear tag here in Washington, and can't wait to put them to the test.
