Leupold Golden Ring vs HD

Your thoughts on the Leupold Golden Ring spotting scope, especially the 12-40x60.

I have noticed that there is a new Leupold GR "HD" is the new and improved HD scope worth the $200 extra?

Any other thoughts appreciated.

I have one, and love it, it's compact and has nice soft case. The price has gone up $2oo the last couple of years. Russ
