That's what it takes to apply for all species in NV, of course, you have to buy the tag if drawn. But its worth it. Not sure CA has the same value.

Between the always rising tag costs and the proposed ammo sales ban they are doing everything they can to stop hunting in California. There is a bill in assembly that would ban lead for fishing as well. How expensive would fishing be if you had to use other metals for weights?
