Lieca 2400 rangefinder

I don't know anything about the Leica 2400 but I have an old Leica 1200 (more than 10 years old) that still works fine.

Once I couldn't range an elk at 900 yards but I could range the rock behind it. It does pretty good out to about 800 yards.

As WVHUNTER said, I have had my 1200 for about tens years. Ranged a bull at 672 yards this past season in snow, and light fog. It actually suprised me.

I have the 2700b. It works great to about 1000 on antelope in flat country if you can steady it on a tripod. In rolling ground it is much better. Hit up Doug @cameralandny.com he hooked me up with a great deal
Leica rangefinders can't be beat
