any ideas on a good pair of light weight boots (less than 3 lbs.) at an affordable price?

I have enjoyed my Danner Pronghorns. GoreTex, uninsulated and about $130. They are 8" high which is enough for me.

I got a pair of Cabelas brand boots made by meindl for $150 (they might be called "trophy hunter"). They have 300 grams thinsulate and are super comfy. Plus they have a Kevlar toe and heel to protect against abrasions. Not sure on the weight but they are great. They are an 8" boot.

Don't get the Danner Elk hunter boots. They are like strapping a bowling ball to each leg.
