malay gap late rifle elk

anybody here have info or experience on San Carlos elk hunt in january on Malay Gap..just pondering...as per usual.. thanks

I went on that hunt 2 years ago. Tough hunt! It can get a ton of snow out there and gets very tough to get around to the better hunting areas. We did it self guided. Managed to find elk most days but didnt find many decent bulls. Some of the guides (tribal) do pretty good. The hunting area is WAY the heck out there. Make sure you take everything you'll need in any conditions!
