I can say "my topo" is affordable and it's great for paper map people like me, that want a custom map. Regular maps only cover quad to quad boundaries.
I always seem to need an overlap of two or three.
I like to add the 1,000yrd grid pattern lines to the map. It helps with rough distances to land marks.
