I have read some good reviews about the Meopta HA 70 and HA75.
The HA 70 has the 70mm objective and is only about 12" long and weighs under two pounds. An old company started in the 30's in Czech, their glass is supposed to be pretty good. The HA 70 is on sale at Cabela's for around $500.
I wrote Meopta to find out about the ocular and how big it is as I don't like the tiny eyepieces on some of the other scopes. They said they range from 41mm for the 14-45x and 44m for the 20-60x eyepieces. I have asked for clarification on whether that is the housing diameter or just the viewing portion of the eyepiece.
Anybody seen or own a Meopta and could give me their thoughts?
