MINERAL MOUNTAIN SHEEP???

The introduction of a new sheep herd is always good news to me. It hopefully means that more hunters will be able to get a sheep tag in the future and that's always a positive.
I've never been on the Minerals but if we are ever going to get close to Nevada and Arizona in sheep numbers, we have to keep finding new places to put them.

There was a nice desert ram that hung out in the Mineral Mountains for a short time several years ago.

I would love to see a herd there.

Seems like there is a lot of work to be done before this opportunity moves forward. Nothing good is going to come of transplanting wild sheep on top of domestics which, I believe, is the current reality.

I am sure I will get a ear full tomorrow. Going to church in Milford tomorrow. :) I may fan the flames a little.
