Mt Dutton pictures

My recent scouting trip proved successful. These bulls are far from any road and in the nastiest canyons. This year will prove tough. Although on size? I'm going to shoot a mature bull. I have my sights set on 330ish. Thoughts?

Defiantly very achievable goal. So many hunters set the bar so high they are setting themselves up for failure. Shoot for a 330 bull knowing there's the chance to do a lot better. Most important is to have fun on your hunt. 3 years ago we killed a 320 type bull seen one that was 360 type just didn't make it happen and seen a few more that were better than what we killed. Great hunt and an ass kicker of a mountain

I believe the Dutton master himself had a hard time finding himself a 400 bull a year or so back when he had a Dutton tag. The master himself even went home empty handed!

It's to bad things ended the way that they did, however 4 of us now have great memories of chasing, passing up bulls, and harvesting a good bull on the last day. Now it's time to for team muscle milk to ride again on slamdunk's muley this October.

I had a Dutton tag a couple years ago, passed on 320-330 bulls every day. You can do much better on that unit, unless you are talking Archery then that's a whole different ball game. Congrats on having one hell of a tag, good luck!
