MT Sheep poacher fined

Heard in the news yesterday Mt sheep poacher was fined $30,000+ and lost hunting privelages. His daughter had drawn tag and was in college out of state. He shot ram (top 50 all time, didnt hear score) and took it to FWP office to get plugged. They checked out his story and busted him plain and simple. Sheep was out of East Fork Bitterroot, western MT.

Same type story in the Pecos Wilderness. Son drew the tag and the dad shot the ram. Two hunters were aware who the tag belonged to...Game Warden was at the trail head, fined him 3,000.00, took the ram....not sure what the rest of the fine was.
