My Colorado Buck

Well I wasn't able to hunt deer in NM this year but was fortunate enough to draw a 4th season Colorado tag. Saw lots and lots of deer and looked over probably 30 bucks. Was hoping to find a 180+ deer but just couldn't turn one up. I am pretty sure I passed this buck up on Saturday evening while I was still being patient, however on the last morning still wanting to put some venison away for the winter, I had to squeeze one off. I was real pleased to put my tag on him, especially with my wife along for her first time deer hunting.

Sweet deer bro. Here a pic of the buck harvested in between your uncles house on the tribal land on Friday afternoon. This kids first buck at 13 years old.

That is a nice buck. I would love to go on a hunt where I could pass up 30 bucks. I wish that coaching football would allow me to hunt Colorado. It sounds like a blast.

Awesome last day buck, You had a great hunt if you got to look over that many bucks. It always a good hunt with sighting of that many. Congrat on finding a good one.
