My two 12 year old grandsons got their first muley bucks in general areas in Wyoming. Both did it with one shot and on the first day they hunted. Shane (4x4) hunted with my son-in-law and Carter (5x5) hunted with me. These boys both keep their cool behind the gun and get it done! Very proud of them both!

Congrats to both of them !
You should be a proud Grand Pa .

How were deer numbers ?
Overall numbers are down in my country as we have a consistent lack of doe deer. In fact throughout August and Sept I saw as many bucks as doe/fawns. Unfortunately both groups in low numbers. Carters 5x5 is the best buck I have seen in the area, in great shape and an older deer to boot. I'm guessing 5-6 year old minimum. We will find out because G&F wants to do tooth age along with CWD testing this year.

Oh snap!
That's as good as it gets, Jeff.
Those kids come by it naturally and seem to have the fire.
Congratulations!!!
Zeke

Memories that will stay with both boys for a lifetime. Hunting with their Grandpa and taking great bucks- doesn’t get any better!
