Nevada unit 10 moisture

My son (13) drew the muzzy tag for 101-109. We are doing a self guided/trespass hunt in 102 the first week. We’ve never hunted NV before and I actually drew the early 6 archery tag which I anticipate turning back due to time constraints and work. We both drew with 1bp which was a huge surprise.

We are in north Idaho and we have had amazing moisture so far this May/June after below avg snowpack, but am wondering how the Rubys are doing on moisture?

Pretty good late winter snow pack.
Moisture isn’t typically a factor for deer antler growth in the Ruby’s. There’s alway plenty of quality feed for deer. I’d say moisture isn’t really a factor in Nevada north of HWY 50.

That’s good news! It’s higher than I ever imagined hunting in NV and the Rubys seem pretty lush relatively speaking.

Here in Spring Creek moisture is lacking this year. Got some late storms but not enough

I live at the base of the Rubies. The snow pack is bleak. Even worse on the east side where the bigger ranches are.
