NEW CA HUNTER-C Zone?

What's up everyone! Im a new hunter as of the last year or so. I have hunted for pig once, but that's about it. I put in for a deer tag this year and drew a C zone tag. I live in the Sacramento Valley and didn't grow up in a hunting family, but definitely have a love for it after one pig hunt. Any advice in general or specifically to C Zone would be appreciated! Looking forward to learning and seeing everyone's hunts this year!

Did you kill a pig? You typically have to dedicate a lot more time than once for a deer hunt. Hunt hard and hunt often. I believe C zone is only a 2 week season, take time off of work and hit it. Don?t get discouraged.

Yeah I ended up with about a 300 lb pig. Definitely a fun hunt! But yeah I'm definitely committed and willing to put in the work I need to learn and be successful.
