New Mexico buck down

LAST EDITED ON Oct-09-19 AT 11:34PM (MST)[p]My brother in law shot this bad boy on the second or 3rd day of NM muzzleloader season. He was using a CVA Accura Mountain Rifle, 110gr Blackhorn209, 245gr Barnes TMZ, Federal 209A primer. Shot distance was 201 yards. Buck dropped in his tracks.

I took my buddy on the same hunt but sadly, he got a bad chase of the shakes and wasn't able to pull the trigger. Boy froze up so many damn times when we got onto bucks, I was seeing red

He went home empty handed.

they have them, just harder to find. This guy was in an extremely remote section of NM.
