I just wanted to officially thank all of you who helped me out with information on the sheep (and the logistics) of "the Island". After 4 scouting trips, amazingly no flat tires, and the help of a good friend, I was able to harvest a 8-9 year old ram. After missing him the previous day (had to readjust the scope that evening), we spotted him and 5 other rams harassing a ewe on the northwest side of the mountain the next morning. This time the shot was true and I now should probably rename my handle to ovis3.
