No Excuses out of Accura

Anyone ever tried the NE 460gr. conical in their Accura? The instruction manual indicates not to use a conical over 400 gr. I have some left over when I had them for my Bighorn.

I would not be afraid to shoot one with that gun, but I would not exceed 100 gr of powder. 80 to 100 gr of powder should be enough to put anything up to elk down.

I probably shot 50 or more thru my Accura last year. I used 90 gr of BH 209. I'm not the best but I got fairly decent groups with open sights. Please post your experience with them. I liked how easy they went down the barrel but was also concerned that they might have been too loose.

I pushed one down the barrel for a test fit. It was snug but not a ball buster.
