Noisy backpack

Yesterday I noticed my backpack was making a ton of noise. About 15 lbs of gear was all that I had. What have you all done to quiet down your pack?

Get a new pack

Wash it. Tape the frame with athletic tape.

Empty your pack, fill your bathtub add a little detergent and submerge your pack. Agitate with your hands and you’ll see all kinds of dirt, grime and gunk come loose. I’ve had that squeaky noise problem a few times. Washing it helps.

Get a decent pack

Tape the rings and zippers.
Add toilet paper to compartments that are not full so items dont bounce around.
Bonus is you can never have enough TP.

It is dirty, I'll give it a good washing to see if that helps. It is a decent pack, has one of those carbon frames.

Dust and grit lead to squeaks and noises. wash it.
Some times the material of the shirt you're wearing could cause rustling noises on the straps.
Even new, expensive packs can make or have noises when hiking.
