Non Resident Hunters Ed

Does anyone know how i could find out when and where to take a hunters safety course for non residents. Preferably in the northern end of the state. I took it several years ago but i would really like my younger brother to take it too. Any information would be very appreciated.

Contact Don Martin on this site. He does two a year in Kingman. I believe they are in January and April though, so you'll have to wait till next year.

My next one-day NR Hunter Ed class is going to be January 10, here in Kingman at the Mohave Sportsman Club clubhouse. Call Dave Williams at G&F in Phoenix to get signed up.

No field day for this class, but it is a 12-hour day and when you're done, you'll walk out with the card...

We'll do one more in April, date to be determined...

I'd say when your done you are guaranteed to draw at LEAST a Unit 8 bull tag. I took the class in January then prompty drew unit 8 archery. My brother took it a few years ago then promptly drew unit 9 archery bull. They sprinkle magic dust on those Kingman hunter safety cards. Get one.

What did I tell you guys in the class? One or two of you WILL draw a premium tag AFTER taking this class.

And they do.. I hear it every year.
