North East of Fairview Utah Bear tag turned in.

I just got a call about a bear tag that was turned in. Season dates are August 20-sept 27th and nov 3-13th. I was wondering if anyone knows anyone with dogs that run up in this area for bears? I need to let the Wildlife people know my decision before Monday 8-15-2022 before 5 pm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not know this area at all.

No, I talked to some guys who advised me that it was not my best interest. I have 11 points. I should draw the tag I want next year. One thing they said was if I had 4-5 points and got called it would be worth it, but to burn 11 points on short notice not knowing the area probably not worth it. Hopefully next year I will get a tag and have all summer to figure out where to hunt and how to do it correctly.
