northern idaho question

I've decided to try to fill a deer tag the two days after thanksgiving with any whitetail I can find, buck or doe. Any suggestions on some decent public land in unit 1.

My plan so far is to head north toward priest lake and hunt logging roads and clear cuts east of the highway.

Again, I just want to get meat, so I'll shoot whatever.
