My 15 year old boy has finally talked me in to giving deerhunting another try, so we are going muzzleloader hunting in northern utah. anyone have any information to share on what the area around the north slope is like or at least a starting point to scout from . any help would be apreciated

Anywhere in the northern ut. unit would be good, just open your eyes and use the binos.

THe north slope is good, but if it gets a good fall strom before the muss opener, which usually happend every other year or so, those bucks will bail to the lower private land. I've seen it happen on more than one occasion.
