What causes this to happen? This is a whitetail but wanted to post here to get the most feedback.

Is it possible he nosedived when he went down? I've had some incredible crash endings on deer and elk over the years...

Like the saying goes: " got his nose out of joint"...didn't end well for him !

Found a deadhead elk skull a couple years and the skull is 2/3 the size of a normal elks and crooked. The antlers are all cauliflowered each tine droops downward. Think it might be a chromosone condition.
