And you have started scouting are you seeing animals in the burnt out area in the patches of trees and such that was skipped out by the fires. Has any rain gave the grass a little boost.
I shot one in a burn area several lifetimes ago that had the blackish antlers still carry's that deep black on his antlers to this day.

nope the area I am in doesnt have any signs of life in it no tracks no animals. there is minimal regrowth due to lack of rain. looks like it will be another year or two before the animals have sufficient cover and food
