Any recommendations for storing never used broadheads until next season? Or for that matter, more than a year?
I only hunted a week with my compound bow, and 4 of the 6 arrows never came out of the quiver. In the past, I've removed the blades, sprayed them with gun oil or WD-40, and vacuum sealed them until the next season, which for my compound may be 2 years. I know the replacement blades aren't expensive, but I hate throwing them away.
For my x-bow blades, I do the same thing but I haven't found replacement blades I can purchase. Have to buy the whole BH.
Before everyone says to just re-sharpen them, sharpening things is not a skill set I have. I have many skills, but sharpening is definitely not something I consider one of them.
