Oregon gun shops or sporting goods?

Hello,
I'm driving through Oregon in July and I would like to check out any of the better hunting outlets in the area. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
I will be driving up 84 through LaGrande, Portland, then south along the coast highway 101, then east through Eugene and Bend.

There is a Ma and Pop place in La Grande called Oregon Trail Trader. 2312 Adams Ave. Great place to take a break and stretch your legs. Also the Goodwill in Bend has been known to have some used high end camping gear if you are okay with used.

If you plan on stopping in Pendleton you might check out Garner's Sporting Goods. They have a pretty good selection of stuff and if Rick is there he is an interesting fellow
