Outdoorsman Pan Head

Yes. Yes.

I just spent my first morning with one and when it's topped with Austrian glass it's the most pleasurable experience you can have with your clothes on.

I'm serious. When you lock the pan or tilt levers everything locks where you want it. So slump, no jiggle. It's stout.

Just get it and all the accessories you need.

Fiends of mine are swaro dealers and they can get the swaro made by manfrotto free and they still run the outdoorsmans system.

"That's a special feeling, Lloyd"

I've been using mine for a number of years now. Absolutely worth it imo.

Where the outdoorsman's shines for me is its size. It is very compact and makes packing a tripod very easy.

As stated in previous post, when you lock it up it's not going to move or jiggle.

There will be better heads for a more fluid pan if you're trying to record something on the move, but I'll almost guarantee you'll not be packing those very far from the truck.

Decided to go with it.
I called a couple of times and they were out of stock.
Called today and was told that they have some coming in on Thursday, but they are all being sold as back orders.

It would have been nice to know there was a back order list to get on.

Any other recommendations for a great tripod head?
