The 3 images below were taken with my Panasonic digital camera of a photo that was open full screen on my monitor. The 1st was taken at normal size while the other two were zoomed in on with the camera.

I'll let you guys decide what if the pattern is the same type as the one on the deer image. Click, then enlarge by using the + dealie to get the full effect.

You definitely can get wavy lines taking a picture of a monitor or TV. I think It has to do with the resolution, refresh rate, etc. Kind of like looking at LED headlights on digital video. They blink on the video but to our natural eyes they don’t blink. Our cameras capture of the monitor at different speeds than the LED lights are flickering. They are not synced
