Pedastool mount

Was hoping to get this elk on top of the pedestal but the skull hooker trophy tree just does not seem rigid enough.

I'm with ya Russ, I don't think it has the stable base to have that big ole bull on the Top!

You could maybe somehow add more wt to the base of the tree or make it wider?

Is the metal tree base not rigid enough or is the wood block not steady enough?
Does the metal tree base screw into the wood base?

Dan the metal base is supposed to be on the ground and hold two animals just not going to work with elk

The good news is I've got another 30 in of pole length that I could rig up onto another pedestal

Attach the wood to a sheet metal base that's wider than the wood.

Russ, if you're near the Salt Lake area, give me a shout and I'm pretty sure I could help get that thing beefed up so you could get the elk on there.

Nice bull -- I like the pedestal idea. Here's a piece that I've been working on. I just ordered a shorter arm so the skull won't stick out so far.
