Pinedale…. Soda Lake Fishing? Or??

Anyone have a report on Soda lake outside pinedale?

We are going for an adventure tomorrow and I want to try this lake…

We are looking for big fish and not to keep any.

Does anyone have another suggestion?

I would give Two Rivers Fishing Co. a call. I usually make it up there but with the delayed opening I was unable. Curious to hear how you do.

Game and fish says the population of fish in the lake is the lowest its been in recent history and that was before winter

I also heard yesterday from a guy that Soda lake had all the fish die off when it was super low last year. Be interested to hear if you got up that way and checked it out.

It was pretty bad we fished for 2 hours. Never got a hit. There was 2 other boats fishing that full 2 hours nothing for them. I did not see any fry/minnows at all. Not one fish surfaced, etc. it seems like a healthy lake plant, and micros wise but dead.

We spent about 5 hours at another lake and landed 23 fish (lakers and bows)
