Plated bullets?

I was thinking about getting some plated bullets to load. Has anybody used them for target ammo? I was thinking about loading some 158 38Sp ammo at about 750 fps.

I was wanting them to be accurate at 25 yards.

I have a friend that reloads and he says stay away from them. He loads a lead SWC and gets good accuracy.

I have used X-Treme plated bullets for years and have found them very accurate. Even used them for my match ammo for IDPA shooting matches in 45ACP. Also have used the 158 gr. plated in both 38 spec. and 357 mag. and had great accuracy.
I do prefer X-Treme plated over Berry's plated. They have a web site you can check them out for both plated bullets and hard cast lead bullets.
