Click on the member's avatar and the click START COVERSATION. Easy peasy.

How do we delete unwanted conversations?

Click on the ENVELOPE next to your name in the top menu bar, then click SHOW ALL. Then put a check mark in the little square for those you want to discard and click the SELECT BOX in upper right. At the BOTTOM of the screen, you'll see a menu bar where you can choose various options. The LEAVE CONVERSATIONS will delete the checked ones, but it won't take effect until you leave and come back.

Usernames that are labeled as “Guest” are accounts that no longer exist. Sorry.

At one time they had an account, but then I cleaned out a bunch of accounts that hadn’t been used for a couple years a few years back. So I probably deleted the account.
I should’ve just left them all, but didn’t. So now, those accounts show up as being by a “Guest”.
