Well, I bean slackin and the chokecherry’s pulled me back in. We have a lot of them and the birds get every one. Poor deer have to eat the bushes.

A make up post. This was the “little” fire the neighbor started the other day. A little different wind direction and this could have been bad. The neighbors saved the trailer from his little trash fire.

Yup, pretty unusual aspen. That would run my stove for about 2 weeks in the winter. We have a big old dead spruce on our place that looks kinda like that. I never thought to take a picture of it.

It’s a Leica VLux. A really easy point and shoot with a decent zoom. Easy to carry and no goofing around with lenses.

I’ve found that I take more pictures if the equipment is easy to use. Here’s a fire from Sunday, with a landmark a few will recognize.
