Anyone have any experience with Powerbelt Platinum Bullets on deer or elk ?

2 Big Game Animals taken by Family Members this last year through 2 Remington Ultimates!

338 Grain Platinum's!

All But one of the Bullets We Recovered were Perfect Mushrooms!

The Hide on the Opposite side of the Entry Holes Caught the Bullets/Animals Absorbed all the Energy!

I use the 270gr on both deer/elk & never had a problem.
3 elk
1 deer
....all shot under 100yds

Hit my buck last october with the 338gr plat and 110gr jim shockeys gold. Buck dropped on the spot with full exit wound and expansion.

I've had great success with the platinum powerbelts. I've shot 6 mule deer with the 270 gr. and 1 bull elk with the 300 gr. bullets. The bull and 4 of the bucks dropped dead in their tracks and the other 2 bucks ran less than 50 yards before piling up.

I plan on shooting the 338 platinums for elk this fall. I bought a bunch of them on a clearance sale .

I have had great success with the 270 grain Powerbelts. It's my go-to on muzzy hunts. Good luck!

Have they redesigned the powerbelt in any way the last 4 years or so? Or have they made them a bit harder or softer? It was a few years ago I was hearing some having issues with it after looking into it. I also found 5 of them just inside the skin of my elk I shot during rifle season in 2012. I am looking to use them for an antelope hunt and couldn't imagine any issues using them on thin skinned Antelope.
