I heard about biggamehuntingmaps.com as a good source for "reliably" identifying the line between public and private property. Anyone try them, especially in the field.

I tried a free trial download from them for during the turkey hunt. They were nice but not sure if they were worth the money. Tried to get on some property it showed as Natl. Forest trying to head off some turkeys and ran into the land owner at the gate and they said the boundry was on the other side of the ridge. I believe them because there was a very nice expensive fence and gate under padlock with a NO TRESSPASS sign where the boundry was supposed to be. I think I will be sticking to papermaps.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-11-11 AT 10:42PM (MST)[p]HuntingGPSmaps.com has better maps and are more accurate. you can buy each state with TOPO for a $100. Or if your GPS alread has topo on it you can get one of there programs that has 11 states on it and it just goes over your already downloaded topo maps
