Pro's, Cons of Swaro 20-60 vs 25-50W

So I'm looking at replacing my 30 year old 25x Leupold spotter. I've narrowed it down to the Swarovski ATS 65mm but I'm trying to figure out if the 25-50W is really worth the extra or if the 20-60 is all I need. I realize the difference is small but it's till something. I'm not going to be sheep hunting or anything. Most of my use will be whitetails here in Michigan and Antelope, Muleys and Elk out west.

Any opinions or experience you can share?
I tried the search and couldn't find this topic discussed

Thanks

Darrell

For what you’re doing the 20-60 will be fine. I ran the sts 20-60x65 for many years until I upgraded to the atx system.

The 20-60 is excellent if you need the extra power for identification.

The 25-50x is a superior optic with a wider FOV (better for observation) and easier and more comfortable to get behind

I have found the opposite as far as “Comfort”. I prefer the 20-60. Seems less critical. BTW, I have a 25-50 that I’d be happy to sell.
