Public options

Any advice as to which states give good public options?

I’ve only hunted them in 3 diff states but … Wyoming Region A , Southern Iowa Zones 4 and 5 , and the Black hills of South Dakota have all been good to me on public land.

I think we're hunting the same states!
I hunted Iowa zone 4 in 2021. Blew my chance! Takes about 4-5 years to draw this tag again.
Hunted SD in 2020 in single digit temps.
Ohio has been on my list but never gotten around to it.
Also have points in Nebraska, but I'm targeting a muley there.

I was looking at Wyoming just cause I’m close. But South Dakota looked good too.

I’ve spent way more time on the Wyoming side in region A but we’ve taken good whitetail on both sides of the state line !
