My son drew a book cliffs muzzle loader tag in January at the Salt Palace convention. Aparently there was a verification letter that got sent out and needed to be returned by may 15th in order to receive the tag. My son doesn't live with me, he lives with my ex wife. I posted a inquiry on MM for anyone who drew a convention tag to ask if they had received their tag yet because we had not seen or heard a thing yet.
"Bigfin" wrote me back and mentioned the verification letter. I then called my ex and she went through a stack of old un-opened mail and found the letter (this is why she is my "ex"!). I called the number, and even though it was past the 15th, i told the story of what happened and they let it slide. I received the tag in yesterdays mail and yes, it went to MY address this time!
Bigfin, both me and my son thank you for saving this tag for us.
When we find the buck we decide to take, we'll name him after you.
