Realtree dumps USO also!!

Dear Hunters,

Thank you for taking the time to share your opinion with us on the
resident and non-resident draws in Arizona. We appreciate your input. We
understand your concerns and we take them very seriously.

Please be aware that we're currently in the process of withdrawing our
sponsorship of USO. We have not been party to, nor have we endorsed, USO's
lawsuit over the availability of tags in Western states.

Like you, we care very deeply about the outdoors, hunting and wildlife.
Realtree contributes financially to conservation groups each year, and we'll
continue to sponsor groups like Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey
Federation, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Quail Unlimited/Dove
Sportsman's Society ? groups that share our goal of ensuring a bright future
for the hunting and shooting sports.

That is awesome. Realtree is huge. I don't know how much money they gave USO but just the fact that such a big company is pulling out is great.

Jim Zumbo just sent out an email and he is not hunting with the AZ tag he drew through USO........keep up the pressure on all the sponsors......... Allen Taylor......

ITS REALLY NICE TO SEE THE HUNTING COMMUNITY (MOSTLY ARIZONA GUYS) BE SO EFFECTIVE IN CORRECTING A NEGATIVE SITUATION. YOU ARE A ORGANIZED FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. BUT WHAT ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE NOTICED IS THE CLASSY MANNOR IN WHICH YOU HAVE CARRIED YOURSELVES. THIS SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT YOUR EXPERTICE AS A HUNTING COMMUNITY. Anyone else catch the Realtree sheep hunt last Saturday on ESPN2? Sure enough, in the credits following the hunt, they listed USO as a sponsor....

How about a little less talk and a lot more action Bill?

Realtree has used the USO application service in the past. The sheep hunt was done during the '03 season, so the USO service was done in '03 before the court decision. Also he didn't use a USO guide service. Now if he uses the service for the '05 season then we have a valid point.
