How would you rate this region? Public access, quality of deer?

Tons of hunters, average deer on all public land. Decent private land hunting on guided hunts.

There are some decent HMA's and some decent WMA too...

Personally I wouldn't waste 1-2 points for a DIY type hunt...on public ground or the HMA/WMA.....

Justin Richins has a great property for K if you want to get ahold of him....he posts on here sometimes?

Great hunt to take kids on if your just looking to hunt and see deer. You can get away from the other hunters. If you're used to hunting places like Utah, it's nothing like that. Avoid the tops and, just like any other area, get off the roads a little bit. Here are a couple of bucks that my daughter and I took last year. One of the funnest hunts I've done with her.

There is access everywhere. Its only a few miles from my house and i think I will be cashing my sons 2 points and my wife's 1 point in.

Put in and we can do some scouting up there this summer!!

Muzz as mentioned a great kid hunt, open country lots of small bucks I put my 13 year old in for it. He's not ready for G. LOL Get a bow tag and maybe you could find a good buck not on the run. Russ
