Replacement Barrels

I am interested in changing the barrel on my 22-250, to a stainless fluted barrel(if this is possible)does anyone know of a web site that might sale or any place in Salt Lake that might sale Savage replacement barrells?

There are many fine barrels out there.

That said, if I were replacing a barrel on my bench rifle, it would be Lothar Walther.

The current holder of the mile accuracy record uses savage actions and barrels from a place called sharpshooter supply.

I suspect if you are looking for a good barrel that would be as good a place to start as any. If they can set the mile records they are doing well.

Not sure of the state but I can find out more info if interested.

Rangercon notes Walther barrels. Know a bunch of good shooters using them in matches. They are cheap enough and I"ve shot one at a 1000 yard match and it seemed to perform decently enough. Someone using them to barrel a savage I'm not sure of though. You'd have to research savage smiths a bit.

I recently purchased a SS 300 win mag barrel off ebay for $51.00...theres alot of savage stuff on there (ebay)..
