Rib-Eye Cap Pinwheels

Thawed out some big rib-eye steaks to have when the girls get home from their trip. These were some that I had carved out of prime rib roasts, and had really big, well marbled caps. The girls don’t like all the fat in the cap, so I trimmed them off, and made pinwheels out of them for me tonight. The things I do, and sacrifices I go thru, for those girls!!! Some broiled asparagus and baguettes , with a home made onion soup. Oh yeah.

True decadence and dining enjoyment is being able to dredge your food thru the soup, to pick up the cheese and onions, without getting the "LOOK" from your spouse in the restaurant!!

Fresh grated Gruyère. Great taste and melts so good!!

We had rib-eye caps for the first time about 2 weeks ago, had never heard of them before. My wife found them at Costco. I thought they were great, my wife not so much.
