THIS IS A JOKE (Tips from what I have observed)
Here are the top Ten Road Hunting tips that if followed correctly will assist you in taking a fine buck every year.
10: 2 guys in the back of the truck...One shooter and one to pound on the cab when you spot one.
9: Work on your balance in the off season...a sudden stop can slam you against the cab and delay the shot. Allowing weary game to escape.
8: Maintain at least a 4 second lead over the other road hunters. Speeds up to 45 mph are acceptable.
7: Spend pre-season looking for paved roads in prime hunting areas. Pavement allows for smoother riding and shooting.
6: Practice Practice Practice...good 3 point turning on narrow roads does not just come naturally.
5: Fish and Game does not like bullets in the chamber.
4: If in Utah make sure the buck does more than just twitch his ears.
3: If you prefer hunting from a 4 wheeler make sure the height of the seat works well for a gun rest.
2: Do not start hunting too early in the morning...this can cause a lack of good driving judgment.
1: Scout for an area with lots of roads...If not you are going to get screwed up by those DAMN hike in hunters.
More suggestions welcome.
