Rush Valley Pronghorn

Since Utah changed the waiting period from five to two years on Pronghorn my wife is eligible again to put in again. She shot a noce one three years ago with a rifle on the Platue unit. This time she want to try bowhunting them. I an considering putting her in for the new Rush Valley bow hunt. Has anybody hunted Pronghorns on this unit? How would it be for bowhunting?

I was out there scouting for deer last year in early August and September and must have seen 100 antelope each day. I was able to drive my truck right up along side of them before they would get up and move. Saw some real nice bucks, probably 3 or 4 that were in the 14 - 15 inch range. Saw about a dozen smaller 10-13 inch bucks. What are the dates for that hunt? Email me and I will give you some specifics about where I was. [email protected]
