Rut activity in Southern CO?

Heard northern NM was late this year, just wondering if there was still any bugling going on Southern Colorado? Will be the South Fork area next week.

My uncle was in the Pagosa area up in the high country for Muzzle and it was tough sledding. They killed one nice 6x6, but that was the only bull they saw in 5 days in the high country and did not see much for rut activity. But I know some guys that hunted the same areas in first rifle and had much better luck.

30 or so elk and 2 smaller bulls were firing off in my hayfield right behind the house last night. Southwest Colorado
