2017 started off good for me I was fortunate enough to draw a LE Turkey tag. Not knowing a ton about turkeys I was online reading, watching youtube videos, and on the phone constantly with buddies who had experience in turkey hunting. The opener was a bust with garbage weather. Finally on wednesday in to the second week of the hunt I had some turkeys located and they were talking. I called in a couple and no luck. Friday was silent. I went back on saturday and connected on this nice tom.

I went back out the following week just to look for more birds because I had such a blast. And I found this tom that was a giant.

Now I'm just waiting to see if I have any tags in the big game draw in utah for 2017!

Here's my elk I was able to get this year with my bow. Shot him at 15 yds. Almost got ran over by the herd. And my buddy almost got the herd bull that same day. Now I'm out of tags and hopefully 2018 is another fun year.

Did the european mount myself and liked the way it turned out.
