My dad is turning 70 in September and my brother is flying out from Minnesota for a week of elk hunting. As far as deer goes I just got a general archery season tag here in Utah. I have a couple applications pending in Idaho but I think it will just be some general season tags and a lot of bird hunting this year.

I should be hitting the mountain soon to start scouting but until then I'll be fishing, running and getting ready for the fall.

Well my archery mule deer hunt just got more exciting. Last night at the full draw film tour I won a Hoyt Defiant Turbo. So stoked! Can't wait to get it set up and get out shooting.
