Same deer?

Earlier this year I ran across these guys:

Hoped to see them on yesterday's opener. With a new job, I was only going to get one day's shot at them. The sun was setting when this deer stepped out into an opening:

At first, I thought it was an entirely different deer, but the more I study the photos, I'm not so sure now.

My buddy also scored a really nice one:

It was the most fun seeing his 10-year old son so excited and posing with each deer. We're so fortunate to be able to live and hunt in NM.

congrats on two great bucks.
I don't think so, the top buck has a similar right G4 but the left G2 doesn't curve in like the live buck pic.

The bottom buck looks to be a 3 point on left side so that one don't match either.

There are many things that would be nice to wish for or say but then I would be just like him.

Thanks, guys. I should have been more clear: I'm only talking about the wide one that I got and the wide one in the link. Interestingly, not shown in the link because I could never get all three together was a large 3x4 that was hanging out with those two. I'm not completely sure myself because I saw that wide up real close and at least then he had two eyeguards on his right antler. But otherwise, I thought his frame was almost identical to the one I got, although in velvet he looked a little bigger to me.

Had a chance to go back and look at some other photos that I took that gave some different angles, including the big 3X4. The 3X4 in my photos is a mirror image of my buddy's meaning that the "3" was on that deer's right side. After seeing that, plus comparing tine lengths from different angles, I've concluded that the one I killed is not the wide one in the link. We were just plain lucky.

Both are good bucks, good gene pool in that area for sure.
