Sheep meat from anywhere is my favorite!
Dall sheep over a willow fire is off-the-chart good... maybe because we've been eating freeze dried for a week or so by the time we get to eat real meat! LOL

I'm glad yours is good. My Desert sheep hasn't been that good. Had to make jerky and snack sticks to eat it.

Enough black pepper can mask anything ??.
My desert was ok.
My Rocky was terrible. Had to heavily season and marinate then smoked. Was not to bad if sliced very thin and served on toasted sourdough with cream and more black pepper.
My Mtn Goat is actually very good!

That looks delicious! Sheep meat is some of the best wild game. But if you kill a rocky in rut, it can be some of the worst.
